Welcome! I’m Melania, a passionate wine educator, writer and communicator with a deep love for sharing the world of wine. My journey in wine spans years of study, tasting, and storytelling, blending formal education with real-world experiences across different wine regions.
I hold the WSET Diploma, am a French Wine Scholar, with a Champagne Master certification and Professional Sommelier. With expertise in wine education, communication, and sensory analysis, I specialize in French wines, and food & wine pairings. Beyond certifications, I bring a global perspective, speaking Spanish, English, French, and Italian, which allows me to connect with diverse audiences.
My mission is to make wine approachable, engaging, and meaningful—whether through teaching, writing, consulting, or curating unforgettable wine experiences. From leading tastings to training professionals and enthusiasts, I strive to bridge knowledge and passion with every glass.

*The WSET Diploma in Wines is an advanced qualification in wine knowledge offered by the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET). It is one of the most respected wine certifications in the world and is often a stepping stone to becoming a Master of Wine (MW).
The Diploma is like a master’s degree in wine, covering everything from grape growing and winemaking to global wine regions, business, and blind tasting. It is designed for professionals in the wine industry but is also pursued by serious wine enthusiasts. The program takes around 2 to 3 years to complete and involves in-depth study, exams, and tasting assessments.
